Helping young people achieve their potential.

Together through our partnership with The Prince’s Trust we have helped over 6,200 young people, empowering them with the skills and confidence for a brighter future by providing training, development, and employment opportunities.

Homesense and TK Maxx are longstanding sponsors of The Prince's Trust Awards, specifically sponsoring the Homesense Young Achiever Award.

Employability Programmes

Through our partnership with The Prince’s Trust, we run four Get Into employability programmes. We work closely with the charity to offer 16-30-year-olds programmes that are carefully designed to help them build confidence, learn new skills and gain valuable experience. Young people benefit and we gain from a new pool of talent.

Since 2013, TK Maxx and Homesense are proud to have helped over 1,700 disadvantaged young people through a Get Into programme. Over 70% of those who successfully complete a Get Into programme go on to pursue a career with us.

Achieve confidence and more

Homesense is also supporting 'The Prince's Trust's Achieve' programme, a personal development course aimed to re-engage 11-19-year-olds within education. So far, through this programme, we've helped over 6,200 young people develop their skills and confidence to re-engage with their education and succeed.
Since 2016, together with our customers, Homesense has raised over £2.3 million for The Prince's Trust.

The Prince’s Trust Awards

Homesense and TK Maxx are longstanding sponsors of The Prince’s Trust Awards which celebrate young people who have succeeded against the odds, improved their chances in life and had a positive impact on their local communities, as well as people who have played a role in supporting the work of The Prince's Trust.

We also sponsor the Homesense Young Achiever Award, which recognises inspiring young people who have overcome barriers to transform their lives.

How our partnership helps to shape lives...

Levi was adopted at a young age and moved to an education support centre during his teens, due to troubles at school. This is where he started on the Achieve programme. Since then, he has obtained his level 1 Award, taken his GCSEs, become a mentor for other young people and is now applying for apprenticeships.

“The Prince’s Trust became my safe haven. Life’s more manageable when you have people around who you can trust”.

The Prince’s Trust is a registered charity in England and Wales (1079675) and Scotland (SC041198).
